Condolence: My amazing aunt, Florence Gay, was also my great friend. Although we never lived near each other, we had a close bond. She was a caring, loving, and generous person and had a sense of humor and wit that could bring the house down. She loved her family and showed this by providing a home for my mother, her sister Clara, for a time before Mom came to live with me. I am very fortunate to have had this grand lady for my aunt and friend. ( Thank you Mom and Daddy for naming me after my Aunt Florence Gay !). To Mike and Scott, my good cousins; thank you for taking such great care of your mom. Some people find this so daunting...they can't do it. I hope that it was for you the same as it was for me with my mom. It was an honor to be able to give to her as she had given to me. I'm proud of you.
