Ronnie E. Summers, 64 of Logan, passed away Tuesday April 14, 2015 at Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan. Born March 25, 1951 in Slagle, WV, he was the son of the late Willie and Trusbie Whitlock Summers. Ronnie was also preceded in death by two brothers Bill Summers and Jack Summers, and a sister Judy Summers.
Ronnie served in U.S. Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter Veronica (Ryan) Uselton of Rockwood, Michigan, grandchildren Luke, Owen, Hanna and Kaydence, two brothers Gary Summers of Logan and Donnie (Barbara) Summers of Evans, WV and one sister Kathy White of Alum Creek.
Funeral Services will held on Friday April 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Honaker Funeral Home of Logan, with Pastor Joaquin Ooten officiating. Burial will follow in the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery in Dunbar, WV., with Military Graveside Rites.
Friends may call on the family on Friday from 10:00 - 11:00 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Charles Collins, Mike Lambert, Craig Marcum, Rodney Sells, Chad Summers and David Summers.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Danny Wooten, Paul Perry, Kenny Sells and Scott Summers.
