Estelle Easterling Gordon, age 96 of Logan departed this life on Monday, January 5, 2015 at Patty's Home Away From Home extended care facility at Whitman. Born September 25, 1918 at Chapmanville, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Eliza Drake Perry. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Gordon who passed away on January 6, 1998.

Mrs. Gordon was a homemaker and she was formerly employed as Office Manager for 39 years at Crystal Block Coal Company. Estelle was a member of Nighbert United Memorial Methodist Church, former President of Circle 1 Chairman Administration Council, former member of Logan Woman's Club and Triangle Garden Club. Estelle's hobbies included reading, needle point, and cooking and her most favorite place to be was home. Estelle wanted her family to remember her for her love she had for all of them.

She is survived by three children, Charles Buddy (Jean) Easterling of Blairsville, GA, Priscilla Ann (Harlan) Pritchard of Twinsburg, Ohio, and S. J. (Nora) Easterling of Justice Addition, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and good friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Honaker Funeral Home in Logan. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby, WV. Friends may call from 6:00-9:00 on Wednesday at the funeral home.
