Barbara J. Hoffmann Smith, 82 of Jacksonville, FL passed away Wednesday December 3, 2014 at Custard Care Center in Jacksonville, FL. Born August 23, 1932 in Louisville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence E and Willetta W Steiglitz Hoffmann. She was also preceded in death by her husband Argie Ray Smith.
Barbara was a former Nun and a retired School Teacher. She was also a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and spending time with her many cats.
Those left to cherish her memory include four brothers Lawrence (Phyllis) Hoffmann of Mercer, PA, Alan (Mary) Hoffman of Parma, OH, Stephen Hoffmann of Jacksonville, FL and William (Yvonne) Hoffmann of San Luis Obispo, CA, and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday December 10, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Logan, WV, with Father Yesu Golla officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
