Doris Mahone Endicott 88, of Mitchell Heights passed away Tuesday morning at her residence. She was born on February 23, 1926, to the late Ples and Ida Gore Mahone of Whitman.

On June 22, 1954, Doris married the love of her life, Mose Endicott. He preceded her in death in 1991. Also preceding her were two brothers, Ples Mahone Jr and Rev. Joseph Mahone. Six sisters, Ada Mahone, Virginia Mikus, Ruth Hatton, Audrey Waggoner, Glenna Johnson and Barbara Baker.

She is survived by sixteen nieces and nephews.

Doris loved working in her yard, animals and decorating for all the holidays and she loved her family.

Visitation for Doris will be Friday from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Honaker Funeral Home, in Logan. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm at the funeral home, with Father George Kostas officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Nephews and Great Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to thank Dignity Hospice and Doris's niece Cindy Mahone for the wonderful care she received. Rest in peace Aunt Doris, until we meet again.
