Bonnie Gingise, 82 of Whitman passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Logan Regional Medical Center. Born April 8, 1931 in Ethel, WV, she was the daughter of the late John and Maddalena Baso Boschian. Bonnie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Emory J. Gingise, son Anthony George Gingise, a brother Anthony Boschian, and one sister Clorinda Baso.
Bonnie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a devoted member to St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Holden and St. Francis of Assisi. Bonnie worked as an Office Manager for Dr. Kruger and was a billing clerk for Logan Regional Medical Center.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Elizabeth (Richard) Sanders of Fort Wayne, IN., Susan (Bob) Goins of Whitman, Margaret (Scott) Napier of Riverview, FL., one son, E. John (Peggy Harper) of Montgomery, WV., three granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 7 great-grandchildren, sisters, Della (Joe) Sarsfield of Seffner, FL., Veda (Andy) Wagoner of Bedford Heights, OH., and Beulah (Peter) Swartzbaugh of Toledo, OH., one sister-in-law Sharon (Leo) Mendez, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends and BFF’s Wanda, Mary and Connie.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Father Leon Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Godby.
Friends may call on the family Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Prayer service and Scripture reading at 8:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
