Rose Nary Blair Ellis, 81, beloved mother of Claudia Rose Ellis, went home to be with the Lord Oct. 30, 2013.
Born April 1, 1932, in Ohio, she was a daughter of Farley and Edith Blair. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband Claude Ellis and her sister Geneva Blair Fisher Jones.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving daughter Claudia Ellis of Logan; brother Joe (Nancy) Blair of Charleston, W.Va.; two very special step-daughters, Jerry (Dave) Swank of Enterprise, Alabama and Sherry Robinson of Wilmington, N.C.; brother-in-law Willie Jones; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a host of other family and special friends.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Logan and was a registered nurse, working in various area hospitals before becoming a full-time mother.
A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at Honaker Funeral Home, with Rex Thompson officiating.
