Obituary for
Mary F. Esposito
Mary Frances Lamp Esposito, 90, of Logan, departed this life on Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Logan Regional Medical Center, with family at her side. She was born February 21, 1922, in Monaville and grew up in Whitman, daughter of Patsy and Frances Zaccuri Lamp.
She will join her husband, Vito T. Esposito, who preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter and husband - Rose Marie (and Jim) Rupe; five sons and wives - Dr. Vito M. (and Betty) Esposito, John V. Esposito, Patrick R. (and Caroline) Esposito, Thomas E. (and Pamella) Esposito, and Michael A. (and Frankie) Esposito; six grandchildren – Anne Elizabeth Esposito, Patrick Ross Esposito II, Lesli Christine Verdi, Cara Marie Kendzerski, Thomas Vito Esposito and Mary Catherine Esposito; and great grandchildren – Natalie Isabelle Esposito, James Clayton Verdi, Elizabeth Camille Esposito, Caroline Grace Kendzerski, Claire Alexis Kendzerski, and Anne Lucille Verdi; and a host of other relatives, caregivers and many, many special friends too numerous to list. In addition, she is survived by one sister, Nita Gore, and preceded in death by two sisters, Meka and Joanna, and three brothers, Joseph, Tony and John.
Friends and family serving as pallbearers are: John Dardi, Bruce Espostio, Patrick R. Esposito II, Thomas V. Esposito, Claude Gore, Norman Hart, Gary Hylton, Steve Vance and Phil Zeto. Honorary pallbearers are John Bennett, Don Browning, Joe Campoy, Frank Carlomagno, Lindsey Collier, Mel Cottone, Edward Eiland, Rev. George Kostas, Senator Joe Manchin, Louie Martin, Serafino Nolletti, Neal Scaggs, Freddie White, John Yacomino, and Albert Zappia.
The family wishes to thank all the many outstanding caregivers she was fortunate to have with her and sends a special thank you to caregivers Sherry Miller and Jeanetta Johnson, both with her during the recent days. She received outstanding care and out pouring of love from the tremendous medical team at the Logan Regional Medical Center.
